The NBA regular season continued on February 14. The Celtics, at home, defeated the Hawks 105-95 after four quarters to win their eighth straight game; the Hawks suffered their second straight loss.

The exact scores of the four quarters were 28-17, 27-28, 23-42 and 17-18 (Hawks in front). On the Hawks' side, Trae Young scored 4 threes for 30 points, 4 rebounds, 10 assists and 2 steals, Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 26 points and 6 rebounds, Hunter scored 10 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals, and Capela scored 8 points and 17 rebounds. On the Green side, Tatum scored 4 threes 38 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 caps, Brown 17 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists, Derrick White 14 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals, Smart 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Williams 10 points, 14 rebounds and 2 caps.

Hunter and Young each drained a three to give the Hawks the early advantage in the opening half on a comeback. After Tatum scored the Green's first points, Young scored six points on back-to-back free throws to give the Hawks a double-digit advantage and stop the Green. Williams finished with a sack, followed by Tatum's one-two punch. The Hawks outscored the Greens 28-17 after the first quarter.

Early in the second quarter, White scored a three and then Tatum hit two free throws to close the gap and stop the Eagles. At the end of the first half, the Hawks led the Greens 55-45.

The Hawks went on a long scoring drought to start the third quarter. Horford and Tatum each hit a three and the Greens went on a 12-0 run to tie the game and the Hawks called a timeout. After the timeout, the Greens got stronger and took control, with Tatum finishing with a foul shot on a breakaway. After three quarters of play, the Greens outscored the Eagles 87-78. The Greens netted 19 points in one quarter!

White scored a layup at the start of the final quarter. But after that, both teams' shooting percentages dipped. Midway through the quarter, the Greens scored eight straight points to take a double-digit lead. Young scored a jumper and drew a foul, but the Hawks were unable to complete the comeback down the stretch. The Greens turned back the Eagles to win their eighth straight game.
