Talking about disorders and their types in children.

  • Disorders in children..!!

 

Identification of any diseases or disorders in children is very much difficult than identification of the same in adults. As children are unable to explain their problem and miseries clearly, while on the other hand adult are able to do so. 

 

What are disorders??

 

Disorders are a set of problems that disturbs the mental, physical, social, emotional and behavioral functions of an individual, which results in causing various  problems or difficulty or impairments, distress or other problems in a normal day to day life. 

 

Mental Disorders:-

Those disorders which disturbs the normal functioning of brain and the related organs are known as mental disorders. These type of disorders are mostly incurable but can be controlled by using medication. In majority of the cases, the particular individual might have lost his senses, like may be he has lost the capacity to think or he is unable to speak what he actually thinks. 

 

 

Physical Disorders:-

Physical disorders are those disorders which have affected the normal anatomy of an individual. These disorders causes physical impairments like problem in walking or doing any other physical activity. These type of disorders are sometimes curable by the means of a surgery or with the other medications or with natural ways like doing Yoga and all. 

 

Behavioral Disorders:-

Behavioral disorders are those disorders which disrupt the behavioral functioning of an individual. In most of the times, these disorders are caused due the carelessness of an individual, like not getting proper sleep or not having a healthy proper diet, means the disturbance in daily activities is the most common cause of these. 

 

In children, the most common disorder that is being observed these days, are mental and behavioral disorders. In case of behavioral disorders, from 60% to 70% of the children who suffers from this, are those children who are not getting proper time and attention from their parents or family members. But in most of the cases of mental disorder, it is an inherited trait or is present from the birth. Sometimes it is also caused due to an accident and sometimes from emotional trauma (mostly in case of children).
