Samay Raina the winner of Comicstan Season 2 revived chess back in India and made it popular again

As our Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced national lockdown many people sat idol in our houses but one comedian thought this is the greatest opportunity one can have

He was Samay Raina aka Winner of Comicstan Season 2

So samay  quickly set up his whole green screen set up and started streaming chess but at that time there was no audience so he didn't recieve any good response from it the main reason was people didn't knew samay was also streaming and that too chess

Many people still think chess is only a game for intellectuals and they don't even try to play it

So samay went on to Tanmay Bhatt's channel which was at that time on the way towards growth because he was continuously streaming pubg with CarryMinati and also doing vlogging people know him

So Samay also started playing Pubg with Tanamy and Carry and with his sense of humour he captured the attention of people and that raised his channel

He then started a chess tournament in which he called many of his friend comedians to participate and also raised charity

The audience liked it even if the comedians played horrible. Samay started teaching chess basics with Sagar Shah and many Grand masters like Vidit Gujrati Anish Giri, etc

And people loved his content which lead to a growth in chess in India

In a recent google trend section it was found that chess searches were increased a lot in thia pandemic

It's all thanks to our dear comedian Samay Raina for making a so good game like chess popular in the youth generation
