Mahableshwar is the first name that pops in my head when I hear the word Hill Stations. Mahabaleshwar is one of the most gorgeous hill stations in Maharashtra. You can visit Mahabaleshwar any time of the year as it has a moderate climate but monsoon season just adds beauty to this place. Mahabaleshwar has numerous rivers, temples, peaks, and STRAWBERRIES! Ah, what a delight.

  1. Elephants head point

Elephants head point or its alternative name Needle hole point is one of the most popular place to visit in Mahabaleshwar. The rocks  bear resemblance to the head of an elephant, and the hole between the trunk and foot of the elephant looks like a hole of the needle and so the name.

This spot has a pleasant weather and a mesmerizing view. The best time to visit this place is in the morning to find yourself amidst the mist. And don't miss the jumpy horse and camel ride.

There is no better way to kick start your day than watching the Sunrise.  Wilson point also known as the Sunrise Point is the place to go. It's a magical experience to watch the sunrise from the highest point in Mahableshwar, it has an astonishingly beautiful view surrounded by greenery. It sounds so Dreamy!

This place is ‘The land of Strawberries’, it is one of the most famous tourist spots. If you want a break from all the adventures, this is the place! They offer all types of refreshments like fruit salads, ice creams, and milkshakes.  This place has all types of berries especially strawberries.

The best time to visit this place is in the winters, but this place is filled with tourists during March/April as well. That is when Mapro garden hosts the Strawberry Festival. If you are a strawberry lover you will like this Berry much!

Arthur's seat is popularly known as Queen of the points. This place is famous for the Floating of light objects. If you throw light things like a bottle cap in the valley, it comes up or floats due to the air pressure. Arthur's seat offers a fascinating view of the Verdant valley and the river Savitri.

It is said that Sir Arthur came here to admire the pleasing view of Mahabaleshwar.
