Maharashtra tops the state with highest number of Covid cases in India. The state have total number of 1.22 Million positive cases , total death count of 33,015 and recovered case of 916K. The districts have been classified into red, orange and green zones based on the number of cases. Mumbai records the highest number of cases in the state.

The state provides three type of facilities to treat Covid-19 patients. They are

• COVID care centre (CCC) for mild or very mild or suspected cases.
• COVID health centre (CHC) for patients who are clinically assigned as moderate.
• Dedicated COVID hospital for severe patients.

The State also eased the lockdown rules as per the guidelines of Central Government. The number of cases is found to be declining in the past few days.
