Since we are all in the middle of a pandemic and have a lot more time on our hands, we can use this time to learn a new skill, perhaps a new language? The options are endless!

Here are some apps you can use to enhance your skills :

1. YouTube : There is an extensive variety of videos here encompassing all areas of learning ranging from baking, gardening to learning a new language. This vast, multi-discipinary platform always has a video for anything you may have in mind. It is one of the most used apps all over the world. It has a large variety of content that you can watch for free and is very user-friendly.
2. Duolingo : Always wanted to learn a new language? This is my go-to place for learning languages, not only is it free but is also very user-friendly and has a beautiful user interface. It has numerous languages you can choose to start learning and also keeps you motivated about your learning by reminding you to continue where you left off.
3. Khan Academy : This is one of the best learning resources one can find. The lessons are extremely fun and engaging, most of all they are self-paced and also offer loads of tests and quizzes to cut down on your test-taking anxiety. Overall, it gives a fresh perspective about education.
4. Udemy : This is another great platform for learning. It has many free and paid courses that you can take. The paid courses are not expensive at all. The instructors are absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend this site for taking courses on User Interface design and Web Development. 
5. Quizlet : This list would have been so incomplete without Quizlet. This app is great for making flashcards for memorization. There are aslo pre-made study sets that you can use and it is also fairly easy to create your own deck of flashcards. It is a great app if you want help memorizing vocabulary, learn a new language etc. It provides you with so many ways to study information and overall is a great app.
6. PhotoMath : This is a mobile app that can read and solve mathematical expressions for you in real time. It has a minimalist user interface which helps provide a better functionality to the user. It provides step-by-step solutions for the questions scanned. It helps in solving algebraic and arithmetic problems easily.
