How art has been evolved and what is its concept

Creation of visual art is one of the defining characteristics of human species. Art can be almost anything. There was a time in past when abstraction was inconceivable and it was believed that art could represent that existed in the real world.

The origin of art history can be traced back to the Prehistoric era before the written records were kept. The earliest cave paintings writing by almost 27000 years ago has been considered the prevalence of art in the past. The earliest recorded art is the Bhimbetka Petroglyphs which is set of cupules and engraving found in quartzite rock shelter of Auditorium cave in central India. Several murals were found painted in caves reserved as prehistoric art gallery where artists began to paint animals and hunting scenes.

After Renaissance, artists became preoccupied with several ways of capturing reality such as use of linear perspective and realism through the use of oil painting technique. List of art movements are considered as follow:
