Due to COVID-19 pandemic, states across India follow stringent work schedule in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

It would seem that with the recent protests in the Lakhisarai district, the shop opening and closing time would vary across the state, an would depend on the district authorities instead. The shops can remain open from 9 am to 2 om in certain districts, this timings, however, is prone to change depending upon the district you reside in.
