  History Of Cricket

Cricket is a global fashion which is played from Test match arena to village greens,tropical beaches and on dusty back lots.

Cricket is a sport which is very famous all over the world. It is the 2nd most famous sports all over the world after football (soccer). There are various forms of cricket which have been originated in the past few decades.

Origin Of cricket?

Cricket is a sport which has been originated in England in the starting of 16th century. But by the time of 18th century people din't relaised it as a great sport but also an opportuniy for betting.

The first international match was played between England and Australia in the year 1877 at Melbourne. The match was known as "Test" since it was played for five days and was deemed to be an ultimate 'test' match for both the sides  to win.

Australia's First win on England soil came in year 1882 at Oval. From that time both the teams becamed rivials of each other. And the test matches played between them came to known as Ashes. After that defeat a newspaper published an article and told that "Its death of English Cricket" and the Ashes will be taken by Australia.

After some time when Britishers ruled India at that time Indians came to know about the sports which is known as cricket.

There are various formats in cricket and they are as follows:

1)Test

2)Odi

3) T20

Test is the longest format in cricket which  iis played for 5 days.And in 5 days match is not over than it is to be called as draw.Odi is one day format in which 50 overs are there which takes minimum 6 hours to complete.T20 is the shortest format in cricket it takes only 4 hours to complete.On 15 June 1909 International Cricket Council was established which is also known as ICC. ICC is an organization which establish cricket rules and arrange various competitions to make cricket more exciting.
